Capito is a little kid wearing a tailor-made suit. It is vivid, playful and full of ideas, yet can be convenient and calm at the right time.
Capito originates from experimenting with different angles of the broad nib pen, in order to find the right form for a sturdy and readable serif typeface. As a result, Capito has a slightly reversed contrast that emphasizes the horizontal flow, while preserving the character and readability of classical serif letters.
Capito feels comfortable in Books and Magazines, but can be used for all imaginable tasks where a liveley seriousness is desired.
